Kids exploring an alien planet

The spaceship doors swished open, and three kids stepped out,

Onto a world of purple sands and sky-scraping crystal trees.

"Whoa, look at those!" cried Jake, pointing at bizarre creatures,

With multiple eyes and tentacles waving in the alien breeze.

Lia giggled as a fluffy, floating blob drifted by,

While Zak chased after a scurrying, six-legged critter.

They gazed at towering rock formations that seemed to defy

The laws of physics, their shapes twisted and splitter.

As night fell, the sky erupted in a dazzling light show,

Of colors never seen on Earth, dancing and swirling above.
